About Morg

Morgan has been telling people she was going to be an author and illustrator since she was in kindergarten and never questioned it for a second. When she wasn’t drawing, she was writing really bad stories in her journal and pretending to be a spy.

Morgan received her Bachelor of Illustration from Sheridan College in 2019 and has been freelancing ever since. She has worked on book covers, chapter books, picture books, magazine spots and freelance character development for TV. Her author-illustrator debut picture book is set to release in Spring 2027 and she’s got a lot more stories up her sleeve that she can't wait to share!

How do you pronounce your last name?

Easy! Goble rhymes with noble.

What tools do you use for your illustrations?

I primarily work in Adobe Fresco on an iPad Pro, but sometimes I use Adobe Photoshop on my iMac with a Wacom Cintiq Pro.

Will you illustrate my children's book for me?

I do not accept any self-publishing work; I only accept books that come from a traditional publisher. If you're publishing traditionally, publishers do an amazing job of finding the perfect illustrator for your book, so there is no need for you to handle that on your own!

Do you take on private commissioned work?

I am not currently open for commissions, but keep an eye on my Instagram stories for any changes or announcements.

Alex Borbolla at Bloomsbury has bought, in a six figure pre-empt, EVIL UNICORN by debut author-illustrator Morgan Goble. Natascha Morris at Tobias Literary Agency handled the two-book deal for world rights, for publication in Spring 2027.
